The first real feeling of the midnight sun. Celebrating an anniversary through the day and night, this is what met me when I was heading home in the morning. The sun from the "wrong" direction, aka the midnight sun!

.... from my garden. It was a surprise the way the weather turned out yesterday. Here are some of the colours in our flowerbed, the only one surviving the "demolition" period.

Weekend activities in our family

This weekend was Whitsun, but we maintained our usual activities; tearing down the last parts in our basement, digging the final ditches for the plumbing etc. The weather was incredible. We had warm, very strong wind and with all the dust, rain and wind my hair looked insane. The digging is in the floor of our future sauna.

And today the craftsmen finally arrived and we can relax for some time.
