Asars Ponchette

A poncho for my sister-in-law, promised a long time ago. It was hard to settle on a pattern, but I'll try Berroco once again. You'll find the pattern here.

The yarn is bought in Copenhagen, grey wool; the name is simply "Natur uld", 100 % wool. It's very fast knitting. I prefer the yarn and colourway from Berroco; Foliage.

Knitting

Nearly getting there, having used the scissors, the most scary part of my knitting ;o), the rest is a piece of cake. Now I'm ready to fasten the sleeves to the body. I have started a mindless knitting, long stockings. They are excellent for planes and television.

Nick Hornby

Fordelen med å fly langt er at det blir mye tid til lesing. Jeg tok med meg Nick Hornby si bok Juliet, Naked, kjøpt inn i juni, men ny fersk og uåpna da turen til Madrid starta. Den kan absolutt anbefales, - og skulle du ha lest den og kan forklare meg slutten, så blir jeg veldig glad. Det kjennes litt rart å lese ei bok som driver deg framover og når du kommer til siste side så skjønner du ikke at boka er slutt.....

Autumn in Madrid

The temperature varying from 20 degrees to 8 in two days. We spent some marvelous days nevertheless.
